Spires of Nalan

The Spires of Nalan are a culturally defined division of the planet Nalan. They include the Eastern Spire, the Central Spire and the Western Spire. These designations are used to distinguish between continents to the west of Sansehn, Sansehn itself, and those continents to the east of Sansehn.

Historical Significance

Historically, the Central Spire has been used to denote the importance of the Sansehn continent. Eastern and Western Spires are often denigrated and seen as less important to "holding up the ceiling of the world."

Disputed Definition

Though Sansehn People generally believe that they are the Central Spire, peoples of Aktaria think that they are actually the Center of the world and that Sansehn makes up the Eestern Spire and Sumfehn the Western.
