Rodali are an amphibious people of Nalan that may be found in any aquatic environment throughout the planet. Their species can be identified from skin tones of varied greens and off-yellow and the bony horns protruding above their temples. Their bodies are composed of a torso, head, and six limbs. The upper limbs serve a primary purpose for operation of tools and interaction with others, and swimming while underwater. They have two false-limbs, the shoulder-wings on their backs, which perform propulsion and steering functions. The lower limbs serve a primary purpose of locomotion such as walking, running, swimming, and jumping.

Rodali hair colors are usually some variation of black, brown, blues, and low-saturation greens.

For Rodali, there is no differentiation of sexes. There are no males, and there no females, there is only the Rodali. They refer to one another as di, dis, dea, daz instead of she, hers, her, and they.

Children are born from eggs that are tended by specially assigned Rodali hand-selected to the task. These Rodali take the eggs, long fibrous strands like miniature woven nets, and swim with large pods back to the breeding pools in Galor. Those that are selected seem to be affected by their proximity to the eggs and grow larger in both muscle mass, bone density, and brain matter.
