Moonshot, also known as Lunar Cy is a casino banking game using a standard three-suited deck of 60 cards. Players may play against one another in any configuration as long as they follow the game's basic rules. The object of the game is to beat other players in one of the following ways:
- Get 32 points with two cards, Ruchokt and Lichokt, the only two cards that allow such a combination. This is called a Moonshot.
- Get 32 points with the player's final cards of any combination with less cards than other players.
- Reach a final score higher than other players without exceeding 32.
- Allow or force all other players to exceed a score of 32. To exceed a score of 32 is called a crash.
All involved players are dealt three cards at the start of the game.
Cards are divided into three suits: Western Spire, Central Spire, and Eastern Spire. Each suit has twenty cards that are divided into nine numeric values and eleven badge values. Badge values are so named for the badges they show on the side opposite of the card's suit emblem.
